6. Minimalist Split-Wood Bead Pumpkin Ring
For a contemporary, Scandinavian-inspired look, flat split-wood beads glued onto inexpensive metal or wire rings make striking sculptural tabletop pieces.
- Supplies: Half-round wooden split beads, small wire wreath rings or embroidery hoops, wooden craft sticks, hot glue, dried floral picks.
- How to Make: Hot glue split wooden beads along the perimeter of two metal craft rings until completely covered. Intersect the two rings at perpendicular angles to form a three-dimensional open sphere (mimicking the ribs of a pumpkin), securing the joints at the top and bottom with hot glue. Glue a small piece of driftwood or rolled bark at the top junction, accented with a small sprig of dried pampas grass.
