3. Amber Glass Bottled Autumn Foliage

Vintage apothecary bottles bring warmth and nostalgia to autumn vignettes. You can easily turn clear dollar store glass bud vases and bottles into warm amber glass pieces.

  • Supplies: Clear glass bottles or condiment jars, Mod Podge (glossy), brown and orange food coloring, faux dried eucalyptus or wheat stems.
  • How to Make: In a small bowl, mix two tablespoons of glossy Mod Podge with several drops of brown food coloring and a drop of orange or yellow. Pour the mixture inside each clean glass bottle, slowly rotating it until the interior is fully coated. Turn the bottle upside down on wax paper to drain any excess, then let it cure into a translucent amber finish. Fill the finished bottles with dried bunny tails, faux wheat, or dried faux eucalyptus sprays.
