2. Stop, Drop, and Roll Poster

One of the most critical fire safety lessons for kids is the “Stop, Drop, and Roll” technique. Creating a poster to illustrate this concept helps preschoolers visualize and remember the steps. Provide large sheets of paper, markers, crayons, and stickers. Guide the children to draw or glue pictures of a child whose clothes are on fire. Then, have them create three sections on the poster, each representing one step: Stop, Drop, and Roll.
In the first section, they can draw a child standing still with a thought bubble saying, “Stop!” The second section can show the child lying on the ground, and the third can depict them rolling back and forth. Use bright colors and bold letters to make the poster eye-catching. This fire safety activity for kids reinforces the lesson through art and discussion.
After completing the poster, practice the Stop, Drop, and Roll technique together. This hands-on approach ensures the children understand not just the craft but also the life-saving action it represents.
